1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of OnMove South Gate Tree Services ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our tree care services in South Gate, CA and surrounding areas.
2. Services Description
OnMove South Gate Tree Services provides professional tree care services including but not limited to tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding and removal, emergency tree services, land and lot clearing, tree health and maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub and hedge trimming.
All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and proper permits where required by local ordinances.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided are estimates based on information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from initial evaluation. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if additional work is required beyond the original scope.
Emergency services may be subject to different pricing due to the urgent nature of response. All pricing will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins whenever possible.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
For large projects, we may require a deposit before work begins. Deposit amounts will be specified in your service agreement.
Late payments may be subject to interest charges at the rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about property conditions and trees
- Obtaining necessary permits required by local authorities
- Ensuring clear access to work areas for equipment and personnel
- Securing pets during service visits
- Marking or identifying underground utilities, irrigation systems, and buried cables
- Removing or protecting valuable items near work areas
Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or inability to complete services.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule services with at least 24 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a service fee.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at the earliest convenient time.
7. Liability and Insurance
OnMove South Gate Tree Services carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance for all employees. We take every precaution to prevent property damage during service delivery.
We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other hidden features not identified before work begins. We are not responsible for pre-existing tree conditions, pest infestations, or diseases not identified during initial assessment.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Warranty and Guarantees
We guarantee our workmanship and stand behind the quality of our services. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 7 days and we will work to resolve the issue.
Please note that tree care results can be affected by factors beyond our control including weather, pests, diseases, and overall tree health. We cannot guarantee the survival of trees or specific growth outcomes.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and marketing materials, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of OnMove South Gate Tree Services and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Dispute Resolution
We strive to resolve all customer concerns promptly and fairly. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss the matter.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct discussion will be governed by the laws of the State of California and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Los Angeles County.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
